About Us
Our greatest desire is to help build the Jiu Jitsu community here, and we hope you will come along with us on this journey to make Louisiana home to the greatest martial art and sport in the world!
We could not have done it without the amazing support we’ve received from our teammates, coaches, friends and our sponsors. You are making this possible and we’re excited to see what the future holds for our league!
For a Jiu Jitsu Louisiana,
– Sarah and Kandace
Kandace Landreneau
Kandace’s experience is in running events. She has produced 9 major events, in Louisiana and Washington D.C. that hosted between 600 to over 1500 students at each event. She’s produced youth camps and conferences for the last 10 years that hosted between 100-400 people at each event. She’s helped coach kid’s Jiu Jitsu at her academy and tournaments for the last 6 months. She brings 10 years of experience when it comes to event production and promotion.
Sarah Torregrossa
Sarah’s experience in running Jiu Jitsu tournaments. In addition to being a full time competitor, she’s coached kids Jiu Jitsu for the last 3 years and has worked international Jiu Jitsu tournaments for the last 4 years. Tournaments that have hosted over 800 participants each, doing multiple jobs required at a Jiu Jitsu tournament. She’s entirely familiar with the way a tournament should run from set up to tear down, and the flow of the event. She brings the most experience when it comes to competition as an athlete, and producing Jiu Jitsu tournaments.
Both of us have competed in every major Jiu Jitsu tournament league, and we know what the competitor experience should be and we desire to make our tournaments the best possible competition experience.
